I must travel to Omaha for business and a management workshop and I trying to find out what is it to do during my time off. I'm a brother who would like to find a nice place to eat and maybe some theater or something of that nature.

If your visit is during the summer months, you could go to the Fun-Plex Amusement Park. Spending the day there is a blast. I would visit Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo. You could spend hours here. You can stop by the IMAX 3D Theater. If you have children, you could visit Omaha Children's Museum. As a retired Air Force Veteran, I'd definitely visit the Strategic Air and Space Museum

I have experience with Greyhound going from Chicago to Milwaukee, Wisconsin... the bus was usually packed and crowded with screaming babies and lower-income people, but it worked for me OK, hopefully you'll have a stop or two that will allow you to stretch your legs.

I advise to AVOID GREYHOUND AT ALL COSTS they have gone to the dogs, (they have left me stranded several times cause they only send out 1 bus a day!in some areas or you have to wait several hours between buses or connections and 9 times out of 10 the bus is already full by the time it gets to me so you get to stand for hours on end or wait for another bus -which may or may not be coming or even from greyhound... there is an alternate service from Chicago to Omaha on Burlington Trailways here's their schedule for Sunday 4/1/07 Departure Schedule for 4/1/2007 From Chicago, IL to Omaha, NE Select Schedule Transfers Departs Arrives Duration Distance 1401 0 7:00 AM CDT 8:25 PM CDT 13 hr 25

I will start to drive from Omaha, NE to Pittsburgh, PA on Tue around 1pm. Here is my few questions 1. Since my whole car will be full of stuff, I need to move all of them out of the car when I stay at a motel. I want to know any motel provide individual garage? 2. When will be the busy hour of Chicago Highway, I want to aviod it 3. I want to stay at motel for a night, where is the best location to stop on the way to Pittsburgh?

In answer to #1, you could stay in a hotel that has a private, guarded parking lot that is not accesible to the public, then you will not have to unpack your car. Actually, If you lock your vehicle, I don't think you will have a problem...thousands of people do this every day. #2 You will be on I-80 going right past Chicago, won't matter what time. #3...this is a 14 hr trip...it would really be better if you left earlier in the day and drove about 8 or 9 hrs then stopped. There will be hotels at every interstate exit before and after Chicago...so when you get tired, or the sun is going down, pick one...I really don't think you should have a problem.

About Riding lesson instructor in Omaha area willing to travel
Riding lesson instructor in Omaha area willing to travel?
Does anyone know of a horseback riding lesson instructor in the Omaha, NE or Gretna, NE area that is willing to travel to the barn where I board my horse to give lessons? I recently moved to a boarding stable with no lesson instructor, and would like to continue working on my skills without having to move my horse to take lessons. We don't have any "major" issues (horse is pretty well-mannered and walks, trots, and canters with no problems, good transitions, extends/collects, etc and my equitation is solid. I've taken several years of lessons and we know the basics.) but would like to do some "fine-tuning" to prepare for shows and to just become a better horse and rider team. Instructor needs to be qualified and teach english riding disciplines. Many other boarders at my barn bring in lesson instructors in the $30-$75 range....so around here it definitely doesnt have to be that pricy. The problem is, those instructors only teach western riding.

I will be air traveling from Omaha to San Fran with an hr layover, about 7 hrs travel time total. I want to bring a raw rib roast with me, which I plan to check in. How should I pack it?

Get a small cooler. Place it inside the cooler after wrapping it securely so it won't leak into the cooler. Surround it with ice cubes stored in ziploc bags. These will last for the duration of your flight and the roast will not get ruined. Next SEAL THE COOLER so if any water leaks, it will not come out of the cooler. Finally. pack the cooler in a corrugated box with your name, adress and your DESTINATION ADDRESS on it for identification purposes. I've done this type of thing before with bacon, beef, and other types of cured and raw meats.

Can I travel four days after my wisdom teeth removal?
I got my three (I only have 3... 2 impacted and 1 not) wisdom teeth removed on Friday January 2nd and I am supposed to be traveling to Omaha tomorrow, Tuesday January 6th. I took myself off of my pain meds because I do have to drive. But I was wondering if it was okay to travel now that it will have been about 5 days. Do I have anything to worry about from here on out?

I believe you need to just be careful for about 2-3 days after having them removed. You don't want to be doing anything strenuous to make it bleed more, and no gargling if you have no stitches. I would think you could travel with no problem

From Omaha, you can connect through Phoenix (using US Airways) or through San Diego (using ExpressJet Airlines) or through Denver (using United Airlines). Not sure what the connection times or flight regularities are like but you could probably try their websites.

Try looking on Orbitz.com I've looked at other sites when I travel but seem to get the best deal there knowing the information about the connecting flights. There are some other websites for last minute really cheap deals but you will be in the dark about the details until after you commit to purchasing the ticket. To me that is risky not knowing what airlines, airports,length of flight or connection times

Try looking on Orbitz.com I've looked at other sites when I travel but seem to get the best deal there knowing the information about the connecting flights. There are some other websites for last minute really cheap deals but you will be in the dark about the details until after you commit to purchasing the ticket. To me that is risky not knowing what airlines, airports,length of flight or connection times
